Q: How much does it cost to subscribe?
A: Subscription is currently free. We plan to charge a one-time fee or a subscription fee in the future.
Q: I installed CallMeet and added a new meeting, but nothing shows up in my iPhone calendar. Why?
A: To have your meetings show up in the iPhone calendar follow these steps:
A. First, make sure that all meetings are colored black (they are colored green while being uploaded to our server).
B. If you haven't activated the calendar subscription (when prompted on the first application run), click the "i" at the bottom right and click the "Subscribe" button.
C. Open your iPhone calendar and choose "All Calendars" or the "Call Meet" calendar. Wait a few seconds and the meetings should show up (and you will be alerted about them too!)
Q: I created a new meeting reminder, but my contacts did not receive an invitation via e-mail, what is going on?
A: CallMeet (version 1.0) was designed to add meeting reminders to you own calendar, and not to send invitations. Support for invitations will be implemented in one of our future releases.
Q: All CallMeet meetings show up twice in my iPhone calendar, what can I do?
A: Go to Home -> Settings -> Mail, Contact, Calendars
In the Accounts section (on top) you should see two "CallMeet (Calendars)" rows, choose either one and click "Delete Account" at the bottom.
Q: My meetings are colored in green and red, what does it mean?
A: green and red coloring indicate that the meetings have been added and removed respectively, but have not yet been uploaded the CallMeet server (upload has failed or is still in progress). If the meetings remain colored for more than 30 seconds, make sure that Wi-Fi or mobile data connectivity is available and try to press the "Reload" button at the top left of the CallMeet app. If the problem still persists, please check your network configuration.
Q: My meetings were successfully uploaded to the CallMeet server (colored in black), but I still was not notified by an alert pop-up! What's going on?!
A: After the meetings have been uploaded to the CallMeet server, they still need to be updated back to your iPhone calendar. The iPhone calendar is updated when launched, or automatically when configuring your iPhone to fetch new data periodically.
To configure your iPhone to update automatically: Go to Home -> Settings -> Mail, Contact, Calendars
Click "Fetch New Data", in the "Fetch" section, choose "Every 15 Minutes", "Every 30 Minutes", or "Hourly". Important Note: This configuration will affect all your mail accounts and calendar subscriptions. Under "Advanced" you can selectively configure certain accounts to update only manually.
Q: When viewing a meeting scheduled using CallMeet in my iPhone calendar, why are some invitees marked with a green check-mark and some with a gray question-mark?
A: When scheduling a meeting with a contact for which you have entered an e-mail address, CallMeet can create a link between that invitee and your iPhone contact through his e-mail address (when multiple e-mail addresses are specified for a contact, one is chosen in random). Contacts for which you have not entered an e-mail address cannot be linked and will be marked with the gray question-mark.
Q: How can I unsubscribe from the CallMeet calendar?
A: Go to Home -> Settings -> Mail, Contact, Calendars
In the Accounts section (on top) you should see "CallMeet (Calendars)",
click it and then click "Delete Account" at the bottom and confirm.
